AWOL Tours is a leading outdoor travel specialist and Table Mountain Biker’s official bike hire and tour partner in Cape Town. Conveniently located at the V&A Waterfront ClockTower they are open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm. Free Table Mountain bikers route maps and information is also available on request.

Bicycle rentals

AWOL Tours has good quality Silverback Spectra mountain bikes available for rental for full day R500 or part thereof. Bike racks available on request. Helmets, pumps, tool kits and locks are included in the rental. Please note that credit card details are required for surety.

Bicycle Tours

A wide variety of private guided mountain biking and cycling tours are on offer to suit your fitness and type of riding skills. Orientation City cycle tours depart daily at 10am from the V&A Waterfront or for the culturally inclined, cycling through a local township is on offer. For mountain bikers, a variety of beginner to technical single track mountain biking tours with experienced guides can be tailored to your requirements. Best places for mountain biking in Cape Town are either on Table Mountain, Contermanskloof and Hoogekraal in Durbanville, Rhebokskloof in Paarl or Oak Valley in Elgin. Transfers from accommodation are included in the tours.
